In 2018 Oasthouse was delighted to seed fund Grovida, a Portuguese company developing growing and processing facilities for medicinal grade cannabis products.
The GroVida management team brings together exceptionally talented individuals, and we are thrilled to support the growth of the business.
Based in the Algarve region, GroVida boasts an operational cultivation facility with 20,000 m2 of high technology greenhouses.
GroVida attained its licence for the cultivation, import and export of medical cannabis from the Portuguese Authority of Medicines and Health Products in 2020. The company has created over 40 new local jobs and in 2021 made its first commercial export of medical cannabis within the EU, and it is able to supply GMP and GACP accredited florescence and extracts worldwide.
